Check-in & Checkout
  • Check-in from 2pm
  • Checkout by 11am
  • Late checkout – a fee of £15 per each additional hour will apply
  • Early check-in can only be guaranteed if you reserve the room for the night prior to your arrival

Rates & Additional Charges
  • Rates are inclusive of VAT at the current rate
  • Rates are subject to change at the discretion of the Club’s Council
  • Rates are inclusive of a complimentary full English breakfast. Additional A la Carte items are available at a supplement
  • Rates exclude the temporary membership fee which applies to all guests and reciprocal members over the age of 16. Temporary membership is charged at £25 per guest per night
  • Use of the sofa bed in a suite carries an additional charge of £20 per night
  • It is against the law to smoke indoors in public buildings in the UK. A cleaning fee of £250 will apply if evidence of smoking is discovered in your room
Making A Reservation
  • Reservations can be made no more than six months in advance
  • Single rooms may be reserved for Members of The Lansdowne Club only (maximum 1 adult)
  • Children under the age of six are not permitted midweek (applies Monday to Friday afternoon)
  • In the event the Club does not have availability on your preferred date(s), please ask about our arrangements with other Clubs and hotels in London who may be able to accommodate your stay
Guaranteeing A Reservation
  • Reservations must be guaranteed with a valid credit/debit card, otherwise they will be cancelled by 6pm two days prior to the arrival date
  • Reservations for guests of Members must be made in writing by the Member and must be guaranteed with a valid credit/debit card
  • In line with PCI compliance, the Club does not hold card details, therefore Members are required to resupply card details for each reservation
  • The Club does not accept cash, cheques, JCB cards, or Diners Club cards
Cancellation and Block Bookings
  • Cancellations from 12 noon two days prior to arrival will incur a cancellation fee of one night’s accommodation
  • Cancellations are only accepted in written form via email and cannot be made over the telephone
  • Cancellations of block bookings made three months or more in advance must be cancelled by 12 noon five days prior to the arrival date, otherwise a cancellation fee of up to two night's accommodation will apply. 
During Your Stay
  • Members, their guests, and reciprocal members must adhere to the Club’s Rules, including the dress code
  • As Clubland does not traditionally permit tipping (with the exception of Luggage Porters), contributions to the Staff Fund are welcome via our website or in-person at Reception.
